Canadian Liquor Law requires customers to receive their alcohol products in person so our delivery person can verify that the customer is of legal drinking age. We understand you may not always be home to meet your driver at the time of delivery. Should you miss your alcohol delivery, the following processes are in place to ensure you are refunded.


  1. Alberta Customers:

    If you are not home to receive your alcohol delivery, we will remove the alcohol products from your order and return the products to the vendor.

    In the event that you are charged for an alcohol item you did not receive, please reach out to our Community Care team directly for a refund to your account.



  2. Vancouver Customers

    In accordance with B.C. Liquor Laws, all alcohol transactions will be charged in advance by JAK’s Beer Wine Spirits as a separate transaction. We do not share your credit card information with JAK’s. Liquor. Transactions are done via a secured token process to keep all your information safe.

    In the event that you are not home to receive your delivery, JAK's will receive a report of the undelivered alcohol and will automatically move forward with a refund back to your method of payment.

    If for some reason you are not seeing the refund back to your method of payment, please reach out to our Community Care team directly. Please note it may take upwards of 14 business days to have access to these funds in your account (depending on your financial institution).
